A man who impersonated Ed Sheeran's manager allegedly swindled a charity out of Super Bowl tickets, it was learned on Tuesday.

Marc Pollick, the CEO of The Giving Back Fund, says that his charity was recently contacted by an individual who promised to have Sheeran perform at a charitable event just before the Super Bowl in Houston earlier this month, according to
The 'manager' was said to be so convincing that he produced a contract that supposedly had Sheeran's signature on it.
According to the terms of the 'contract,' Sheeran would sing two songs at the concert.
In return, he would receive four luxury box tickets to the Super Bowl at NRG Stadium.

When the manager arrived before the event, he collected the tickets – and then disappeared.
He was never heard from again, and Sheeran never showed up for the benefit concert because he was touring in Australia.
When the charity found that Sheeran was on the other side of the globe, it began to suspect that it fell victim to a scam.
Authorities later learned that the mastermind behind the scam had sold the Super Bowl tickets.
Law enforcement officials are searching for the swindler, who faces felony charges if apprehended.
